The World's Fastest Marathon is more than just a marathon - it's a journey through Spain! Explore whitewashed coastal towns, take a trial run down a mountain road, or tour one of the crown jewels of the Andalucía region: the Alhambra.
The map displays the location of several cities in Spain. Madrid, in the center of the country, is the capital. The blue line illustrates the course of the Tagus River: the longest river on the Iberian Peninsula which ultimately drains into the sea near Lisbon.
Barcelona is located in the northeast in Catalonia, while Málaga and Granada are down south in the Andalucía region. The World's Fastest Marathon runs from the Sierra Nevada mountains down into Granada. Participants can also join an excursion that will travel to Frigiliana and Nerja, two charming cities along the renowned Costa del Sol.
