Route Inspection
Inspect the route with a drive up and down the mountain to the start area situated at 2,605 meters (8,546 feet) above sea level.
7 Oct | 4-5 hours | 40 EUR
The route inspection will begin following breakfast, as we board our bus for the 1-hour drive to the start area which is just adjacent to Sierra Nevada National Park (Parque Nacional de Sierra Nevada). Both runners and non-runners welcome!
This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and panoramic views over the Sierra Nevada, as well as take a brief test run down the mountain.
The bus will follow the marathon route on the return leg of this excursion, giving you a chance to see the route start to finish. We expect to be back in Granada between 13:00-14:00 in time to join the optional Alhambra excursion.
